Programme profile
The world market for environmental technology is, according to OECD, one of the world"s most rapidly growing branches of trade. This programme combines and integrates knowledge from natural, social and engineering sciences. The objective is to give a broad understanding of how to avoid and prevent environmental problems. You will get a deep insight into global, regional and local problems related to the environment and the use of natural resources by human society. You will also develop skills which make you well prepared to take care of today"s and tomorrow"s environmental challenges.
The teaching is problem oriented and often contains thematic studies. Theory and practice are mixed in the modules. During the programme you will carry out projects in cooperation with both local authorities and companies, which make you well prepared for a future career focused on environmentally sound development within both the private and the public sectors.
